Description

The module provides 2 independent CAN bus channels. The CAN protocol is handled by one controller per channel. The channels can be supplied with fault-tolerant (ISO-DIS 11519; up to 125 kBit/s) or high-speed (ISO-DIS 11898; up to 1 MBit/s) interfaces.
The fault-tolerant interfaces can detect faults, e.g. a line that is shorted to ground, and automatically take appropriate action to continue the communication.
