Description

Digital inputs and outputs
The module offers 38 external TTL compatible inputs/outputs. 6 channels could be set individually as input or output. The other channels are organized in groups of 4 channels.

Timer
The module supports 3 timer (8254 compatible). Each timer has 6 different modes. Clock input and gate output of timer 0 and 1 could be connected with an external pin.
Timer 2 can be used as watchdog.

Interrupts
All 12 inputs of the interrupt controller can cause an interrupt at a falling or a rising edge. If the interrupt can not be handled by software in time, the next interrupt will cause an interrupt overrun. The 12 interrupt inputs are connected with: 3 timer outputs; I/O pins 16, 17, 18, 36, 37 and 38; 3 selectable I/Os.

Low cost versions
The module is also available as low cost version X-DIO-40 and X-DIO-32.
